What is my kid going to do with their life?

I often find myself commiserating with parents of young adults who are unsure of so many things related to their children. I can’t predict the future, but I do know that a lot more thought has to go into guiding a kid into the real world than in the past.

No stone unturned

Research can be done easily with AI now but one-dimensional information from a machine isn’t enough. Shadowing, ideation following assessment, listening to objections, observing facial expressions, understanding reluctance, is all part of how we guide our clients towards paths they feel good about.

STEP 1

Parent Insights

We have developed a thorough, thought-provoking questionnaire for you to complete before we get started. Your opinion matters!

STEP 2

Student Connection

Meeting total strangers and answering, “Tell me a bit about yourself,” can be brutal for teenagers. My first consultation is designed for us to relax and get to know each other before committing.

STEP 3

Discovery Assessment

Our assessment phase is the result of 25 years of learning how to uncover all the puzzle pieces of a person, not just grades, activities, and passions. There’s more to it than that, and we have the tools to paint a complete picture.

STEP 4

Pathway Plan

It’s one thing to come up with ideas, but another to actually develop a realistic pathway. You need to investigate steps, fill in missing pieces, and, most importantly, picture what it will look like 5 – 10 years from now.

STEP 5

Concrete Actions

Whether it’s a well-balanced college list and an application that feels great, landing an apprenticeship, a first business plan, gap year planning, an academic plan at community college, or a 2-year launch plan to move out of a parent’s house, we’ll get it done.
